Starting high school is an exciting time for students and their parents and carers.
Going to high school will be a new experience for your child. High school is likely much bigger than primary school, and your child may initially experience a slight sense of unfamiliarity. Instead of being a senior in a small school, they are now a beginner in a big school. However, it is also an exciting time with many opportunities and a broader curriculum.
Enrolment
The Year 6 to Year 7 transition expression of interest process occurs during Year 6. Primary schools manage the annual Year 6 to 7 transition into high school process using the department's online enrolment system.
